Dan L. Lewis is a public safety professional, storyteller, and lifelong lover of fantasy, horror, and mythology. Known as the “Father of Monsters,” he writes stories where monsters have hearts, heroes are flawed, and love is often the most powerful magic of all.
Hi educaton ranges from Emergency Management, Technology, to Leadership and Organizational Development, capped off with a Doctorate in Education. None of which has anything to do with writing stories in the LGBT world of vampires, witches, and werewolves.
"I have always wanted to write novels, but was too scared. My biggest advice to anyone is 'just do it.' Does it matter if anyone likes it? Maybe, maybe not. What matters is that you do something you enjoy. I enjoy imagining new worlds, new characters, and what the human experience is from the 'not so human' perspective."
Dan lives in Central Florida and is the creator of the World of Kirian Byrne. Surviving the Darkness of Kirian Byrne is his debut novel
.

Ancient Vampire, Kirian Byrne, has spent centuries battling his own monsters, but when he meets Jack Davenport, everything changes. As enemies close in, no one is safe, including Jack's family.
